So my projected has morphed into a sphere. I went with this design for a few reasons but most importability I wanted the ability to see in all directions. I am starting to finally printing a working prototype this week. I plan to use this design in tandem with a robotic arm. I’m working on shoving mini projector into as well. This allows for 3 types of scanning to create a more accurate point cloud.
