Keyboard and Mouse Switch

I’ve worked in I.T. for a very long time and one thing I loathe is KVM switches on a tech bench. I have absolutely loved them working on servers and work-stations where compatible computers are configured and setup for them but anytime you are switching out random computers you end up running into problems with driver issues across varying operating systems (among like a million other problems I don’t have time to get into). My current 3 monitor setup has a one computer controlling my 3D scanner another computer controlling my middle monitor I use for work and an open monitor for my work bench. This simple switch hooked to a 4 port hub is all I really need to use my keyboard and mouse across all the devices at my work-station. I could have designed it tot be slightly more modular and added some embed screws with panels to hold it all together but this was just a side quest. So I used to some super glue to keep the devices in places. I needed to make my workspace more functional and it is. I have a tendency to get lost with over designing things that really don’t need to be. So I decided to get back to work on my scanner and other more interesting projects I feel might be better to focus on if I looking to get the job I want this year.

The devices used a were
1.) 4 port switch (product number 47-200-071)
2.) 4 port hub (Sabrent product number HB-UM43)
