About Me

I don’t know what to put here. It’s hard for me to write about myself. I love my spending time with family. My wife and 2 kids whom which our whole life revolves around. I’m hoping soon that I can find a decent job in the engineering or computer science field that makes enough money to allow me to improve their quality of life. I know that if given the chance I could make great contributions to what every projects I maybe become a part of.

I’m a shame-less nerd who loves science and engineering. I’ve have working in IT for over 2 decades. During this time I have been doing everything from fixing computers and electrical devices to developing websites, mobile applications and configuring servers. At one point I even had my own office running several virtualization servers. I originally had intended to migrate certain websites and mobile applications I was running to them but ended up using most of them as backups for security cameras just to make enough money to keep the doors open. When the pandemic hit almost everyone of my clients shut down and as a result they (obviously) no longer needed our services. shortly after I followed suit shut down my operation. I never came from money so it really put me out when everything shut down. Now I just want stable employment at place that pays decent.

I studied and practice martial arts for most of my life. Eventually got good enough to compete but never found much success in the ring. I hope to give it one more run before hanging the hat up. I don’t think I’ll ever become some huge name. It’s just something I’ve loved doing since I got out of the service. It’s connected me with some of the best people I’ve ever met and allowed me to make connections with all types of individuals that helped me grow and become the person I am today. I will always be thankful for the sport and those who helped me train over the years. I’m a war veteran who strongly opposes war but has a huge respect for his fellow veterans. I don’t know. Like most people I’m a million little pieces none of which fit neatly in a box.

I’ve realized over the years that dictating who I am to people won’t change their perspective of me. So I won’t. To me these “About Me” pages are a summarization of ones life condensed into a few or more paragraphs or more. In short I just don’t think myself or anyone for that matter fits into a few paragraphs with some well thought-out meta tags.
